VRCPrismStudio? PrismStudio?​

Both can be used. Even in this document, both PrismStudio and VRCPrismsStudio are used. Before VRCPrismStudio, I was using the name “PrismStudio”, but there were so many other “PrismStudio”s. The name “PrismStudio” is also used outside of VRChat, with any products of the same or similar name, or real studio space. PrismStudio, created by harunadev, also started out as “PrismStudio”, but added “VRC” before the name to make a difference from other “PrismStudio”s. So, to make a clear difference, if you want to put the name or logo of PrismStudio in a video or creation, please use the name “VRCPrismStudio” instead. Thank you!

As of 2026-10-19, VRCPrismStudio has become open source. Uses the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL 2.0) license. For information about the license, please visit here.

Credit​

  • You don't need to put VRCPrismStudio credits in videos/photos/broadcasts made using VRCPrismStudio, but if possible, please leave the #VRCPrismStudio tag when uploading to social media such as Twitter or YouTube, or leave the logo or name of VRCPrismStudio in the credit section of the video/photos/broadcast!
    • For me to appreciate your work, please hashtag/leave a credit/notify me!
    • You can find the logo at the end of this document.
  • On the Discord server, I would greatly appreciate it if you could show off what creations you created on the #ps-show-your-works channel!
